holding banners and signs about messages for school safety issues. This event occurs once or twice a semester. What do you
think of this? What do you think is the students’ take on this?

At first, most of them were surprised. There were some of them who even thought the event was for show. But the truth is, no
one hates free beverage. No one rejects warm welcome. No one spits on the smiling face. Frankly speaking, no one likes school
though. For students it is a place where they “have to” go, study and be disciplined and changed in many ways. For teachers, on
the other hand, it is where they “have to” interfere with the lives of other people, even if they are in their teens and are regarded
immature, point out and urge to correct what seems abnormal about them. Again, there are rules and behaviors to be learned
and followed by students and school is the place for this. If only this hard work could be considered necessary by students and
voluntarily acted upon. Then we will be able to take a giant step toward the ideal that the school is a happy hall of learning. In
this regard, the event, “School Welcoming Day,” was conceived and has been held so far. Why don’t you join this meaningful
event and work together to make the school a happier place to be?
